2009-2010 Tryouts  Thank you for your interest in joining Spartan FC. Tryout sessions are mandatory for those who wish to play for our club.  If you cannot attend your scheduled session, please email info@spartanfc.org and someone will contact you to discuss alternative arrangements.  For general information about our club, please look here.  There is a $25 non-refundable tryout fee. Payment must be received by 6:30pm Saturday, June 6 for U8-14 players (9:30pm 6/11 for HS boys) or your child will not be rostered.  You can pay by credit card on-line or mail a check to Spartan FC, PO Box 682, Northbrook, IL  60065.   You may also bring cash or check to tryouts.  Walk-ins will be accepted, although on-line registrations are preferred.  Non-residents of Northbrook may participate in tryouts. Season fees will be $850 cash/check, $900 credit card for U8-14 players, and $925 for all HS players.  For high school boys, the fee includes indoor training, tournament registrations, indoor and outdoor leagues.  For HS teams, everthing except uniform and travel expenses is included.   High school girls are encouraged to try out for our partners at Glenview Soccer Club. Online registration is now closed.  Please register on-site. Check-in at the registration table 20-30 minutes prior to the start of your tryout session. Players should bring an inflated soccer ball (size 5 for U13 and older, size 4 for all younger ages) and water bottle and wear soccer attire including shin guards. Players who wear glasses must have safety or sport glasses.  Each player will be given a numbered T-shirt at check-in. Players selected to join a team will be posted by number on the Spartan FC website two or three days after tryouts.  Final registration and ordering of uniforms will be done at a date to be announced soon.   More information will be provided when results are posted.
