It’s Election Time!

Spartan FC is looking for a few good warriors …

The Spartan FC elections for four open positions will be held at The Annual meeting on January 17^th at 7:30 PM (The Village Green Tile Room).  The positions up for re-election carry two- year terms and include:

President  (Darryl Skale will run)

Vice President – Operations  (Jim Metzger will run)

Vice President – Marketing * (OPEN)

Vice President – Programs  (Mike Allenson will run)

* Tami Olsen who currently holds this position will assume the position of Secretary for 2012           

As provided in the Bylaws, any Member in good standing at the time of their application (including Honorary members), and is either currently serving or has served as a Committee Chair, Team Manager or Team Representative for a minimum of two consecutive terms, is eligible to seek and hold office as a Board Member.

A qualified candidate who wishes to seek a Board position must submit to Stephanie Grabill on or before December 17^th, 2011 the following:?

?1.  A resume of qualifications;

?2.  A Petition that includes signatures of no less than 15 members of Spartan FC; and

3.   A statement indicating which Board position you seek and why

Please note that the titles of the current Board positions, and the specific area of responsibility, are not determinative as to the qualifications of individuals suitable, required or qualified to seek a Board position.

Once you have filed the paperwork for the position you seek (by December 17^th), you will be contacted by a member of the nominated Election committee and an interview will be set up prior to the January 17^th Annual Meeting.
