John Soltani 
Director of Coaching







Mission: 

Spartan FC’s Director of Coaching, overseeing all aspects of the club’s soccer operations and ensuring a positive experience for all club members. He has coached in the Spartan FC program since its inception in 2008. John was also the Girls Academy Director at FC United, assistant coach of the Glenbrook North High School Girls Varsity Soccer team, and a chairman of the Young Sportsman’s Soccer League (YSSL). 


As a Coach: 
John began his coaching career in 2004. Aside from his experience with Spartan FC, FC United, and Glenbrook North, John is an Illinois Olympic Development Program staff coach, a Region II and National Olympic Development Program staff coach. 


John’s primary objective has always been to play a role in each child’s development and instill them with an appreciation for the great game of soccer. He strives to assist his players in reaching their potential both technically and emotionally, noting that soccer is a vehicle that can be used to teach important life lessons. 

As a Player:
John played his youth soccer in Northbrook and was a high school standout at Notre Dame High School. 


Personal: 
John is a lifelong Northbrook resident who has a strong sense of community, and a desire to give back through his love for soccer.

Genevieve Kapecki

Mission:

My mission is to maximize growth and long-term success on and off the field for my players. I want to develop a positive environment for the advancement of soccer, technical skills, and the knowledge of the game.  I want to advance the idea that winning is not necessarily the first goal, but to realize that by improving on technical skills and knowledge of the game, winning will be the end result.  

As a Player: 
Played at Greater Libertyville Soccer Association from 2005-2013
Played at Loras College from 2013-2015 
Played against the Costa Rican Women National Team in 2013. 
Played at Elmhurst college from 2015-2017.

Personal: 
Genevieve is studying to be a Physical Education teacher at Elmhurst College from grades K-12. I have a minor in coaching and health education. She will be graduating  spring 2020. She lives in Northbrook and can’t get away from her passion of soccer so she gives back through coaching. She has coached at FC-1 and Little Legend in Glenview from 2018-2019 and Dubuque Soccer Club in Iowa from 2013-2015.

Ayman Noureldin

Mission: 
My goal for players on my team is to help them develop as soccer players and as people. Building players’ confidence and giving them a positive overall experience is my overarching objective. Winning is not everything, and mistakes are okay as long as we learn from them and get better. I want my players and teams to possess the attitude of serious fun. I expect players to take everything we do in training and games seriously, but I work hard to make sure we are also having fun at soccer. Through soccer I aim to provide a stimulating environment for the players that encourages them to learn and develop the right skills on and off the field.

As a Player
Ayman played at the academies of Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates and Al Makwaloon Al Arab in Cairo through his high school and collegian career. 

Personal
Ayman is a commercial pilot who does flight instructing in the Chicago land area. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and is now in graduate school.

Dusan Obradovic

Mission:  
As he played professional soccer in Europe for 9 years, Dusan takes all his knowledge and passes it onto young kids.  Soccer has been Dusan’s life and passion since he was a little kid.  Dusan’s happy to share his knowledge and passion with younger kids as their coach.  He also trains and teaches his own sons all about soccer.

As a Coach:
Dusan started coaching Bosnia & Herzegovina SC in 2015. He was coaching 10/11 and 14/15 age groups. Dusan is a coach for United Serbs Chicago SC First Team (Champions of Metropolitan Soccer League Major Division 2017).  Dusan also has his own private practice, NVT 18, for the last 10 years where he offers private trainings to players to work and improve their skills.

Personal:
Dusan was born and raised in Montenegro, Europe. He moved to the USA in late 2005.  Dusan lives with his 3 children and a wife in Morton Grove, IL for past 12 years. He loves passing his soccer passion onto his 2 sons.

Seong Ha

Mission:
The game is the greatest teacher.  Soccer needs to be fun, engaging, and something develops life skills to become a better player and person overall.  Sport itself builds upon lessons learned from parents, coaches, and their teammates.  Being technically, tactically, and psychologically sound in all facets of the game will provide a great experience for all who want to give back to "the beautiful game".

As a Player: 
Played goalkeeper at Niles West High School from 1992-1995.

Personal: 
Seong is a Business Education teacher in the Career and Technical Education Department at Glenbrook South High School since 2006.  He instructs in Sports Marketing, Consumer Education, and Accounting.  He also taught at Evanston Township High School from 2002-2006.  He earned a B.S. of Accountancy from Indiana University and the Kelley School of Business, then got a teaching certificate in Business Education from Chicago State University, and a Master's Degree in Technology of Education from National Louis University.  Currently sits on the Executive Board of Directors for the Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association (IHSSCA) as a Public Relations Director.  In his free time, he is an Illinois High School Association (IHSA) soccer and basketball referee and runs half-marathons.

Mission:
Soccer is more than a sport, it's a passion that I have lived throughout my life and must be followed with a lot of discipline. And as a token of that I want to convey everything learned in each session providing a enjoyable, dynamic and fun experience based on the values of discipline, sacrifice, commitment and respect between each player.

AS A COACH:
I've been working as a coach for 10 years with boys and girls of all ages spreading the sport and practicing everything I learned. 

As a Player:
I've played soccer since I was very young in minor divisions. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to belong to the National Pre Selection U15 selection as well as play professional level in Sport Boys Association of the Peruvian League of soccer.

 Also participate as a player in Northern Illinois Rebels at the A.I.S.L. and Grand FC Mustangs in the U.S.L, both professional indoor leagues in the USA
